Engineering - All orders are checked by engineering for manufacturability prior to release to the shop floor. If problems are found the order is returned to sales for customer contact.
Spring engineering is verified using the industry standard computer software, developed by the Spring Manufacturers Institute of North America.
Engineering support - B&B/Hemphill Company brings many years of experience to supporting engineers with various projects. In many cases we can make recommendations that make parts more cost effective. In other cases we help solve problems that have developed with parts.
Rapid prototyping - With our Computer Aided spring design software, we are able to quickly verify or design springs when necessary, prototype your design and make engineering recommendation quickly.
Light assembly of clock springs - Our light assembly service can help you cut costs in your supply and manufacturing chain and give you greater flexibility, reducing overhead caused by high levels of inventory.
Packaging - B&B/Hemphill Spring Company provides quality, in-house packaging of parts per your specifications.
De-burring - We provide 100% de-burring on all parts. We perform precision hand de-burring, tumbling, vibro, bead blasting, benching & blending.
Stress Relieve Temper - A thermal treatment to restore elastic properties and to minimize distortion on subsequent machining or hardening operations. This treatment is usually applied to material that has been subjected to thermal or mechanical forces that induced residual stress. Ordinarily, no straightening is performed after the stresses relieve temper.
